About Us

Cherie and Bruce Douglas have spent decades exploring the world together—scuba diving, treasure hunting, and mining for rocks, fossils, and gemstones.

Today, they share a studio in Winter Haven, Florida, where their passion for discovery comes to life. Cherie, the creative force behind the brush, transforms inspiration into original paintings, while Bruce, the stone, uncovers and shapes nature's treasures into cabochons, intarsia, and artisan gemstone jewelry. Together, they cut, grind, polish, and torch their finds into one-of-a-kind works of art.

Before pursuing their artistic journey full-time, Cherie enjoyed a successful career in international hotel sales management and government public relations, while Bruce served as a nurse practitioner. Married for 49 years, they are proud parents of four children and grandparents to four grandchildren.
